Pipeline Trail - Running in Provo Canyon

Provo Pipeline:
The Pipeline run begins at the mouth of Provo Canyon and heads up the canyon along the Provo River Trail to Canyon Glen. At Canyon Glen, there is a trail up to the Pipeline. Follow the Pipeline towards the mouth of the canyon. Take the road down to the "water fountain" and then rejoin the Provo River Trail. Another variation of the Pipeline is to run to the "water fountain", go left on the road beside it, and then up to the Pipeline. At the Pipeline, continue up Provo Canyon until the Pipeline goes under ground above the Canyon Glen picnic area. Just as the Pipeline ends you will see a trail which doubles backs - follow it and it will wind down to the Provo River Trail at Canyon Glen. You can follow this trail back to the mouth of Provo Canyon. (More Info...)

The pipeline was owned and operated by Utah Power & Light until it was condemned by the Bureau of Reclamation and turned over to the Central Utah Water Conservancy District more than one year ago for use as a feature of the Central Utah Project.
